We did it! TMF Nova 2025 winners – in Growth & Export
We’re beyond proud! At the TMF annual meeting, we received the TMF Nova Award in the category Growth & Export – a strong testament to how persistence, bold ideas, and a clear goal can take you from Kalmar to Chicago and beyond.
Jury motivation:
“Kalmar-based furniture company Mizetto has had an impressive journey since its founding in 2004. Between 2019 and 2023, the company tripled its revenue and is now launching its international career. All in line with the motto ‘where bold ideas meet Småland’s fierce determination.’
Malin Muskala is the company’s CEO and runs it together with her husband Richard. The couple previously lived and worked extensively in the US, and as Mizetto establishes a growing agent network across Europe, the stage is set for a major transatlantic expansion. In June 2024, Mizetto opened its first US showroom – in Chicago during the country’s largest furniture fair, NeoCon. There, they launched new products that gained attention and even won the prestigious HiP Award. Most notably, Malin received the title ‘Manufacturer Rising Star’ for her leadership at Mizetto and what she has achieved in just a few short years in the American market.
Next up is a planned New York showroom – in partnership – as Mizetto continues on a path of rapid growth combined with strong export success.”

Her husband and co-founder Richard Muskala adds with a laugh:
“I just follow my wife – so it’s been an easy ride.”
